Operating Instructions For Plastic Box Folding Machines

Follow these guidelines for operating the plastic box folding machine:

Installation and Commissioning
Adjust the leveling feet to ensure the machine is level; connect the power supply and ensure proper grounding.
Connect the air compressor hose and set the air pressure to approximately 0.2 MPa; check the belt tension and ensure the guide wheels rotate smoothly without causing the box to drift off-track.
Familiarize yourself with the function buttons: green sensor switch, red emergency stop button, run switch, jog/test switch, and main power switch.

Material-Specific Operating Procedures
General Basic Settings: Adjust the positioning plates according to the box dimensions so the box moves in a straight line along the belt; adjust the width of the side guides to ensure precise folding along the crease lines.
PVC Processing: Install the appropriate inner/outer gluing attachments; raise the pressure guides to create a 5–10 mm gap between the upper and lower belts; adjust the pressure wheel tension. Use quick-drying glue without heating; for slow-drying glue, maintain a temperature of 50–80°C (turn off the heating element before shutting down the machine and run it empty for 15–20 minutes).
PET Processing: Install the appropriate glue spraying unit; adjust the guide wheel height to tension the belt; activate the sensor switch; set the glue spraying start point and duration based on the length of the glue flap.
PP Processing: Install the hot-air gun attachment; lower the pressure guides and adjust the belt width; after powering on and connecting the air supply, turn on the hot-air gun to preheat for 5–10 minutes (set temperature to approx. 600°C); adjust pressure guide tension and machine speed based on bonding quality. During shutdown, turn off the hot-air gun first, allow it to cool for 10–20 minutes, then shut off the air supply.
PUR Glue Processing: Completely purge residual glue after every production run; hot-melt adhesive blocks can be used for cleaning to prevent glue from dripping onto belts or components and causing damage.
